We are excited to announce that our technology has won the 2022 5-Star Technology award by Insurance Business Australia trading as BizCover Pty Ltd.
This award, chosen by insurance brokers, recognises market-leading insurance technology providers.
“We would like to thank our brokers for using our market-leading B4B platform and allowing us to help streamline your brokerage,” says Broker Relationship Manager Shaneika Sutherland.
“Everything we do is for you, and the award reflects this.”
The announcement comes at a time when brokers have had to navigate increasingly challenging conditions, with the Insurance Council of Australia declaring 11 insurance catastrophes in two years, including floods, fires, and the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sutherland says brokers have turned to Insurtechs like BizCover for Brokers that use the latest technology to overcome the uncertainty brokers are currently facing.
“More than 1,200 new brokers joined our platform in 2021, showing that brokers are embracing our platform to combat these tough market conditions.”
BizCover for Brokers offers the only platform in the market that encompasses a full life-cycle transactional platform allowing brokers to instantly quote, compare and bind policies with single data entry.
To get coverage for their SME clients, brokers often need to enter the same information multiple times to get comparative quotes, and it can take weeks for insurers to get back to them.
“This makes for a poor experience for SMEs and the broker, which offers very low return for all involved,” says Sutherland. “We’ve broken down these manual processes and allowed brokers to leverage the power of our platform to massively increase their efficiency in the SME market.”
The BizCover for Brokers Insurtech platform covers more than 6,000 occupations from multiple insurers including AIG, Dual, QBE, Vero, Hollard, and Point Insurance.
Cover options are available for Professional Indemnity, Public Liability, Business & Office Pack, Management Liability, Cyber Liability, Personal Accident & Illness, Information Technology and Allied Health.
Insurance Business Australia selected the best insurance technology providers by conducting one-on-one interviews with brokers and surveying thousands of others within its network.
The top-scoring technology and software providers were named 5-Star Technology award winners.
